If the question means “how much can I afford to repay” then a lender or a broker will help you with a budget and many lenders will have minimum amounts allowed for expenses but in reality the only one who really knows what repayments they can afford is YOU.
Everybody has different requirements and expenses. Some people can live frugally, others can’t. It is no good taking on a big commitment if you have so little money left that life is miserable even if a generic budget says you can afford the repayments.
