If a borrower is less than eighteen they are not of contractual age and cannot enter into a contract that is binding on them.
In years past minors were allowed to be co-borrowers with other borrowers over eighteen years of age but this does not seem to be the case now and I have been unable to find a lender who will allow this scenario.
